Dancing's Karina Smirnoff "Feels Great" After Knee Surgery

Karina Smirnoff
Recently enganged Dancing with the Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is recovering well from a recent knee surgery, and looks forward to Dancing's new season.
"I feel great," Smirnoff told E! News. "I'm walking around easily, doing my physical therapy. The doc did an amazing job and said that I should be 100 percent by Feb. 10th."
Smirnoff injured her knee on the Dancing with the Stars tour last year. An MRI showed a torn meniscus. She went under the knife on Jan. 30, and was forced to miss an appearance with fiancé Maksim Chmerkovskiy at the Shrine Asian Kitchen nightclub in Foxwoods, Conn.
Smirnoff's injury and surgery won't keep her from hitting the parquet on March 9 for Dancing's eighth season. "[Karina] is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery," Smirnoff's rep said. "She's looking forward to the new season."
