Holly Madison Injured, But Will Dance On

Holly Madison

Holly Madison replaced a hobbled Jewel on Dancing with the Stars, but now she is injured herself.

The Girl Next Door star was examined Thursday after experiencing pain in her side during rehearsals for the Argentine tango.

"While she is not suffering from a broken rib, she does continue to feel a great deal of discomfort and was prescribed pain medication," Madison's rep tells Us Weekly. "She is committed to the show and her partner, Dmitry [Chaplin], and will rest when she can. She fully hopes and, at this time, expects to dance on Monday."

The buxom blonde first hurt herself last week while rehearsing for the samba, but exacerbated the injury this week.

Madison, who faced elimination on Monday's show, is the season's sixth wounded contestant. She stepped in for Jewel a week before the season premiere after the singer fractured the tibia in both legs. Nancy O'Dell also withdrew prior to the premiere because of a torn meniscus. Sex and the City's Gilles Marini, Jackass' Steve-O and Apple nerd Steve Wozniak are all nursing injuries as well, but have remained in the competition.
