Brooke Burke and Derek Hough

Dancing with the Stars contestant Brooke Burke sustained a foot injury following a Sunday rehearsal, People reports. She and partner Derek Hough were camera blocking a fast-paced routine when she did a front-flip and came down hard on her right foot. Burke applied ice to keep the swelling down, but visited Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for X-rays on Monday as a precaution. She was diagnosed with a severe bruise.

"She's a little sore, but she rehearsed today and she feels ready to dance tonight," an ABC rep said.

Burke's injury is just the latest in a series of accidents that has dogged this season's contestants. Misty May-Treanor was forced to withdraw from the competition two weeks ago with a ruptured tendon, while Jeffrey Ross suffered an abrasion to his cornea during Dancing's first week this fall.

Last week, Lacey Schwimmer and Lance Bass half-joked about trying to avoid the Dancing "curse" — but their fears are unfortunately ringing true. What do you think is plaguing the show this year?
