Dancing's Chelsie Hightower: Jake and I Aren't That Dramatic

Dancing With The Stars, Chelsie Hightower

After two weeks of tense video packages featuring her and partner Jake Pavelka, Chelsie Hightower wants to set the record straight. "We have a lot of fun together. We goof off, but they haven't shown that yet in our packages," the Dancing with the Stars pro tells TVGuide.com. "It's not that dramatic. We have a few moments like every couple does, and that's what they end up showing. What can you do? They want to show the stupid drama we have!" Their drama, she says, is partially rooted in the fact that the former Bachelor has never been coached before. So how are they doing this week? Find out below. Plus: Will Hightower return to So You Think You Can Dance as an All-Star?

Dancing's Erin Andrews Trying to "Be All Va-Va-Voom"

Dancing with the Stars - Erin Andrews

It's no surprise that Erin Andrews feels unnatural on Dancing with the Stars — not because she has never danced, but because she's a self-described tomboy. "I'm sitting here looking at my face and seeing what all this makeup has done to me. It's like, 'Aaahh!'" she tells TVGuide.com. "There are just some things that you're not used to." The ESPN reporter, who will compete despite receiving death threats, is also not used to playing a character, but is determined to show off some acting skills in Monday's waltz. See who's been helping her out, why Dancing has been a "perfect release" after everything she's been through, and if Maksim Chmerkovskiy really does smell amazing.

Dancing's Cheryl Burke: Judges Shouldn't Have Bashed Chad

Cheryl Burke

Cheryl Burke got right back to work after she and Chad Ochocinco escaped elimination on Dancing with the Stars earlier this week. "I stayed up until 3 a.m. choreographing our paso doble. We just have to put in the extra hours and get the routine down," she tells TVGuide.com. "The pressure's intense." Even more so after the football star performed a clunky foxtrot and was, as Burke puts it, "trashed" by the judges. See why she thinks the judges' comments were out of line, how they will bounce back and if they'll flirt less in rehearsal.

Buzz Aldrin Dancing for Space — and Beyond

Buzz Aldrin

Buzz Aldrin may have earned the lowest score — a 14 — on the Dancing with the Stars season premiere, but the legendary astronaut is determined to stick around the dance floor a little longer. Not just to improve his hoofing skills, but to promote awareness about the space program. "[Dancing] is a very strongly supported culmination of being in the public eye and doing things that I think are appropriate for a 'moonwalker,'" the 80-year-old tells TVGuide.com. See what Aldrin, who's paired with Ashly Costa, hopes to accomplish during his Season 10 run, why he doesn't like the "moonwalker" label and what you can expect from his upcoming 30 Rock appeareance.

Dancing's Jake Pavelka: I Feel Dumb Every Day in Rehearsal

Jake Pavelka

Jake Pavelka got a rude awakening on his first day of Dancing with the Stars rehearsals. "I have no dance experience, but I have done the two-step and three-step and salsa. I kind of boasted about that a little bit," he tells TVGuide.com. "Then Chelsie [Hightower] goes, 'I've got to tell you something, Jake. You don't know how to dance.' I was like, 'Thank you for shattering all of my confidence!'" The former Bachelor star has since learned the Viennese waltz, which earned him a score of 20 this week, and is now working on the jive, a dance that is doing a number on his knee. See why he's having so much trouble, what he has to say to those who are still mad he chose Vienna over Tenley and more.

Dancing's Chelsie Hightower on Getting Paired with Jake Pavelka: "Huh?"

Dancing With The Stars, Chelsie Hightower

Chelsie Hightower, who has danced with a rodeo cowboy (Ty Murray) and a snowboarder (Louie Vito), was surprised to be paired with The Bachelor (Jake Pavelka). The Dancing with the Stars pro tells TVGuide.com: "I think [his casting] surprised a lot of people." Also a surprise: Pavelka's performance on Week 1. The pair posted the fourth-highest score of the night — a 20 — for their Viennese waltz. But their second-week dance, the jive, is shaping up to be more of a challenge. Dancing's Tony Dovolani: What's With All the Kate Hate?

Tony Dovolani

Tony Dovolani was the only one in the dark. The Dancing with the Stars pro says he doesn't read casting rumors about the show, so the possibility of working with Kate Gosselin (a widely speculated pairing since they both live on the East Coast) never crossed his mind. "Everyone was thinking that except me!" he tells TVGuide.com. "I don't read rumors. If you do and set your heart on somebody and don't get them, or it turns out the person is not doing the show, then you're disappointed even if you get somebody great." And great is exactly what the mom of eight is, says Dovolani, a dad of three — whatever "haters" might think.

Dancing's Cheryl Burke: I Had to Google Chad Ochocinco, Too

Cheryl Burke

Googling her Dancing with the Stars partners is becoming Cheryl Burke's pre-season ritual. Last season, she had to Google former House majority leader Tom DeLay. This time around, she turned to the search engine to brush up on Cincinnati Bengal wide receiver Chad Ochocinco. "Isn't it funny? I didn't know anything about him either," she tells TVGuide.com. "It just shows you all I've been doing since I was a little kid is dancing." So what was her reaction when she learned about the NFL star? Find out below.

Dancing's Derek Hough: Nicole Scherzinger Is Not a Ringer

Dancing With The Stars, Derek Hough

Last season, few expected Derek Hough and Joanna Krupa to make it to the semifinals of Dancing with the Stars. It's a different story this time around, as Hough is paired with former Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger. "I do think there's a little bit more pressure on me with everyone expecting Nicole to go far. That's OK," he tells TVGuide.com. "Last season was one of my favorite seasons because I had a great time. I had no expectations. I was just enjoying myself and that kind of came through. I'm going to try to retain that this season." See what else the Season 7 champ has to say about his new partner, why she's not a ringer and which cast member is a party animal.
