This could have been a really mean April Fools' Day prank, but luckily it isn't.
Warner Home Video has announced a release date for Pushing Daisies' complete second season on DVD and Blu-ray. The set hits stores on July 21, finally making it easy as, uh, pie, for diehard fans to see the three episodes ABC will not air. (Those episodes are also being screened for PaleyFest attendees in L.A. on April 19th.)
The four-disc set (two discs for Blu-ray) will feature all 13 Season 2 episodes, as well as featurettes on creator Bryan Fuller's vision, composer Jim Dooley's music and the magic created by the visual effects team. You can pick up your copy for $39 on DVD and $49 for Blu-ray.
