Anomalies linking the present to the past have started appearing around London, and it's up to evolutionary zoologist Nick Cutter and his team to investigate the cause of them, and stop whatever comes through. They tackle savage dinosaurs, giant insects, prehistoric parasites and other unheard of species that threaten our existence. This 4-disc set includes the first and second seasons of the show, totaling 13 episodes. Also included are two commentary tracks, and two behind-the-scenes documentaries, one focusing on the first season, and the other on the second season. A third season of the series is already in production, and will air overseas in January, 2009.
Fans of dinosaurs (the series was created by the people behind Walking With Dinosaurs) or some of the other BBC sci-fi shows will want to check this out.
