Jeers to Jason Alexander for his ludicrous performance as a serial killer on Criminal Minds.
Wearing a long gray wig that made him look like the evil spawn of General Custer and Colonel Sanders, Costanza — er, Alexander — elicited more accidental laughs in an hour than in his two post-Seinfeld sitcoms combined. I appreciate an actor trying to stretch, but Alexander simply wasn't credible as a psycho professor who kidnapped a day-care teacher and four of her young charges. The Criminal Minds team profiled this nutjob as a narcissistic misanthrope who became flustered around women. Maybe he's not so different from Costanza after all.
