Cheers to Artie Lange for giving Cheers & Jeers a shout-out on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.
During a remarkably frank and uproariously funny interview, Howard Stern's plus-size sidekick jokingly claimed that Cheers & Jeers jeered Conan for agreeing to take $40 million if NBC didn't follow through with its promise to make him host of The Tonight Show.
But that was only one peak moment of the rollicking chat, which also featured Artie dissing Conan's Peacock cohorts Jay Leno and Jimmy Fallon as well as a brutally honest discussion of his past problems with heroin ("Richard Pryor says it, he's a genius, and I'm just a slob"). That's high comedy!
