Hey Fans:

The moment is finally here... Ghost Whisperer is back in production! We're so grateful to all of our loyal fans for supporting the show, and special thanks to ABC Studios and CBS/Paramount for working so hard to make this happen.

The magic created in Seasons 1 through 4 is due to the passion and dedication of creator John Gray, executive producer P.K. Simonds and the writing team, cast, crew and all our directors. Now we're excited to begin shooting Season 5 and we look forward to rolling out a great season!

The crew is prepping for our first shoot date, as is the director, Jennifer Love Hewitt. FYI: We're getting ready to start shooting on the newly built town square set at Universal Studios (the very sets that burned down during the fire last summer). Whew! It's good to be home! Keep a watchful eye in the press because on June 18, Universal Studios hosted a press tour of Ghost Whisperer's town square - so there should be lots of coverage and pictures of Grandview!

P.K. Simonds has a new blog, with lots of cool stuff being posted regularly. Check it out and check it often! You're going to love all the new insider info that he's sharing about the evolution of Ghost Whisperer going into Season 5. Click here: www.pksimonds.com

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jamie Kennedy did us a favor by representing Ghost Whisperer at the Monte Carlo Television Festival. FYI: Ghost Whisperer is as successful overseas as it is in the U.S. Love and Jamie did a terrific job. You may have caught some of the press and Jamie's tweets about what they were doing and whom they were doing it with. And, Love shared pictures this week during our first casting session of the season - casting for a very special role. Her pictures are great!

David Conrad is still in Pittsburgh performing in Burn This at the New Hazlett Theater in Pittsburgh. If you live in the area and haven't seen the production, run — yes, run - to the Hazlett because it wraps on June 28. David is extraordinary on stage as the character Pale.

Camryn Manheim was in NYC for the hiatus. She has a new film titled Fort McCoy which premieres on Sept. 10, 2009. Check out Camyrn's official web page for more details in the near future. We can't wait to see it - it's going to be great!

Keep your eyes peeled for Christoph Sander - he's lurking in London with a new "look." Actually, it's his old look - his hair is back to it's natural blond color and he looks as adorable as ever.

As many of you know, Jamie Kennedy has been crisscrossing America, doing his act in comedy clubs. P.K., Ian and Kim saw Jamie perform this summer - he's really, really funny, so very smart and has an amazing connection with his audience. Check Jamie out at any of the following club dates listed on his site.

Comic-Con San Diego is happening July 23-July 26 and Ghost Whisperer's got some surprises up its sleeve. Due to the Total Engagement Experience that we've been building over the past four years, the 2009 Comic-Con will have the biggest Ghost Whisperer presence to date. Check back here for details as we lock it all in. Until we go public with specifics, you can check out Comic-Con.org.

While we're on the subject of "fandom," Jennifer Love Hewitt has been nominated for a Saturn Award in the category of "Best Actress in Television," as presented by the Academy of Science Fiction Fantasy & Horror Films. The winners will be announced June 24. She's already won twice and we have our fingers crossed for a three-peat!

If you haven't been to our Ghost Whisperer sites, click below - lots of groovy stuff going on there. You'll find a whole community of loyal GW fans buzzing around these links... and perhaps a few ghosts:

Also, Ghost Whisperer has begun re-running on ION, so check your local listings. In the fall, the show will also be re-running on SyFy and WE. If you missed any of Seasons 1-4, check them out on one of those cable stations.

James Van Praagh has the Ghostly Voyage sweepstakes. Qualify to cruise the Mediterranean while James helps you talk to the dead. It's deadly cool.

Ghost buster Mary Ann Winkowski has been very active in the spirit world this summer - take a look. If you're in Colorado, she has a book signing on July 5th, beginning at noon, at Old Firehouse Books, 232 Walnut St., Fort Collins, Colorado 80254.

Check us out next week where we'll have more about how we're moving into Season 5 production.

Thanks for watching,
Kim & Ian
