News flash! CBS has confirmed Ghost Whisperer's premiere date for Season 5's all new original episodes. It begins on Friday, Sept. 25, at 8 pm. Can't wait!

Last week we had our very first production meeting of Season 5 with Jennifer Love Hewitt at the helm as director of Episode 501, "Birthday Presence." Love's got quite a few surprises in store for you film-wise. The first script of the season was beautifully written by P.K. Simonds and Laurie McCarthy— lots of mystery, intrigue, a good dose of spirits and lots of emotion. We really love it, think you will too. And, of course it was great to have everyone back at the 'prep table' with us. When we prep each episode, every department head sits with us at this giant conference table and we talk through every single sequence in the script (we laugh and joke, too) to make sure that we're all rowing in the same direction creatively and technically.

Our production designer, Mayling Cheng, and her brilliant team of artists are busy creating a very special haunted hospital — it's one of the new additions to the Grandview Town Square. To compliment this, we're in the progress of creating a new interactive Flash game that will let you navigate the hospital where Jim works... and where ghosts lurk. This will enable you to continue your Total Engagement Experience in the Ghost Whisperer world.

Don't forget to check out P.K. Simonds' new blog, where he gives fans some terrific insider info and clues about what's happening this season.

Along with being an amazing actor, David Conrad (aka Jim, the love of Melinda's life) is also an avid art collector and philanthropist! David recently donated his art collection, valued at $300,000, to his Pennsylvania high school, The Kiski School. Conrad's 151-piece collection is comprised of photography, paintings and prints, and nearly 90 percent of the artists represented in the collection were born, lived or currently reside in western Pennsylvania. What a guy, huh?

We at Sanders/Moses are excited and proud to be honored for our body of work. This past weekend, we received the Producers of Vision Award at the 2009 Vision Awards. This ceremony is hosted by RP International and it recognizes members of the Hollywood creative community who have used their "sight, foresight and insight" to create projects which bring special enjoyment and/or educational value to audiences around the world.

In addition to us, the Vision Awards honored Shonda Rhimes (Grey's Anatomy), Matthew Weiner (Mad Men) and Lawrence Bender (Pulp Fiction, Good Will Hunting). Just to be mentioned in the same sentence as these three extraordinary talents is an honor for us. And it gives us great pleasure to help shine a light on the incredible work that Helen Hays, the founder of the Vision Awards, and her team are doing for Retinitis Pigmentosa.

As you know by now, Ghost Whisperer will have a big presence at the 2009 Comic-Con in San Diego, on July 23-July 26. Our entire cast will participate in an autograph-signing on Sunday, July 26 from 11 am to noon. We'll also host a cast and executive producer Q&A panel at 1 pm. And our Ghost Whisperer street team will be on the floor passing out Ghost Whisperer goodies. We look forward to seeing you there. We'll have more specifics in our next blog. Until then check out this Comic-Con link.

Jamie Kennedy's got it going on in Massachusetts as he makes his way through the state this weekend. Check Jamie out at any of the following club dates listed here.
