This Friday, Ghost Whisperer takes to the high seas with Episode 404, "Save Our Souls." In this episode, Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Jim (David Conrad) take a romantic cruise, where Melinda stumbles on a ghost who wreaks havoc on a newlywed couple. Filmed on location aboard the historical and luxurious ocean liner HRS, Queen Mary! Check out the promo here.
"Save Our Souls" was written by Emmy winner and co-executive producer Mark B. Perry and directed by the talented Gloria Muzio. Of special interest to this episode, Mark B. Perry produced S.S. United States: Lady in Waiting, a documentary about the S.S. United States, our nation's flagship, one of the crowning maritime achievements of the 20th century. For ship and cruise enthusiasts alike we have provided a link to the extended trailer for Mark's fabulous documentary.
Musically, "Save Our Souls" features the song, "6 O'clock Blues" performed by Beyonce' Knowles's sister, the very talented and beautiful Solange Knowle on camera during the episode. Additional music includes "American Boy" by UK hip-hop artist Estelle featuring Kanye West and Brooke Waggoner's "Hush If You Must." "Save Our Souls" guest stars Peyton List (Mad Men) as Lorelei, Seamus Dever (Army Wives) as Rich Henderson and Katherine LaNasa (Alfie) as Betty.
