We're thrilled to introduce our new video blog series, "Ghost Whispering Weekly," where the Ghost Whisperer cast, crew, writers and directors will share behind-the-scenes tricks of the trade about upcoming episodes. "Ghost Whispering" will be posted on CBS.com. Our first installment, just in time for Halloween, features our Emmy-nominated VFX Supervisors Armen Kevorkian and Art Cordon who will bring you into the wild world of visual effects as they show how they created the ominous galloping headless horseman for this week's episode. For a sneak peak, click here.

Now, for this week's Halloween Spooktacular episode "Head Over Heels:" As Grandview prepares for Halloween, a headless horseman terrorizes the town. The haunted figure is mysteriously linked to Aiden's (Connor Gibbs) teacher who is mourning the recent loss of her father. Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) works to solve this puzzle. Meanwhile, the season opening prophecy from the Book of Changes seems to be coming true, as Aiden begins to see things Melinda can't — things that are either imaginary friends or supernatural beings from a dimension we've never known existed.

"Head Over Heels" (episode 505) was written by executive producer Laurie McCarthy and consulting producer Stephanie SenGupta; it was directed by Steve Robman.

This episode guest stars: Sarah Jane Morris as Caroline (Brothers & Sisters, Seven Pounds); Amy Davidson as Dana (8 Simple Rules, Criminal Minds) and Riley Smith as Sean (24, Criminal Minds).

Musically, this episode features "Like You Do" by Angel Taylor; "I'll Be Your Breeze" by Andrew Belle; "Truth Be Told" by Strada; and Oh Hush's "Irresistible."

Finally, we love to read your comments and we'll get back to responding to more of them next week. In the meantime, we wanted to clarify that indeed Ghost Whisperer is set in the state of New York. Eli James recently showed his license in episode 506, "Cause For Alarm." As you can see, it is a Grandview, NY license, and we'd like to thank our incredible props department for creating all of the items (from brochures to maps to the Book of Changes) that you see on the show.

As always, thank you for your continued support — and have a SPOOKY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN!

Best,
Kim & Ian
