Rocky Carroll, NCIS: A Labor of Love
Hello all,
I'm so very glad to be sitting at my computer and writing to you again! Hello Berk, Jonih59, Dorjean, Mrs. Grimm, Jaebianca, Dutchgirl, Taylor Carlson, Margy W., Keren, Erin Lee, Arwest, Leni, Obriensg .... and everyone else who reads and responds to this blog. Please take no offense if I didn't mention your name. These were the ones that I remembered off hand. Please know that whenever I answer a question or respond to any of you, I will always address you by name.
I'm sorry that I've been unable to write for a while. So much has happened since I wrote to you, wishing you happy holidays. My 82-year-old mother came across the country to visit for the holidays. A few days after Christmas, she suffered a heart attack. I was able to get her to a hospital in time. She's doing OK and is on the road to recovery. At the same time, I began work on the "Vance-centric" NCIS episode. We just finished filming it last week. I think you will be quite surprised at what you are going to learn about Leon Vance from this episode. It was a true labor of love. I was shooting every day, then doing whatever I could for my mother every evening. The last month has been surreal for me. I truly missed communicating with you. I'm sure you understand. I'm still dealing with issues relating to my mother's care. Just know that she's well and on the mend.
I will be in touch again next week. I just wanted to let you know that all's well, there are some great new NCIS episodes coming soon and I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the "Vance" episode that will air soon. Let me hear from you. tell me what your thoughts about the new episodes you've seen this month.
I'm really glad to be back in touch.
More soon,
Rocky Carroll
