Rocky Carroll, NCIS: Season's Greetings to All!
Season's Greetings,
To all of you who read and respond (and to those who read and don't respond) to this blog, I want to wish you the best for the holidays.
This blog has become very special for me, and I want to thank you all for making that possible. When I was asked to start a blog for TVGuide.com, I was reluctant for a number of reasons. Well, I can honestly report that writing this blog is an absolute joy. I've never written a journal, kept notes or jotted down my thoughts before. This is new and unexplored territory for me. As I mentioned before, I was accustomed to interacting with an audience because I come from the theatre. Thank you for your questions, comments, musings, quips, etcetera. Not only do I read them, I'm informed by them. Thank you!
I'm glad you enjoyed the story in my last blog. I wanted to add a footnote to that story. I described in detail the practical "toothpick" joke that the cast played on me. I'm not sure that I made it clear to you that I thought it was absolutely hilarious! Once the director mercifully yelled "Cut," we laughed for five minutes. To me, that practical joke was the cast's way of saying, "Welcome to the NCIS team." I'm smiling as I write this.
Well, I'm behind on my Xmas shopping, and time's running out.
Best wishes to all of you,
Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, and happy New Year.
Until next week,
R.C.
