The Biggest Loser Contestant Jackson Carter Blogs Weeks 1 and 2

Jackson Carter

Starting Weight: 326 End of week 2: 302

Hi everyone, I am so excited to be blogging for TVGuide.com each week and hope you will all follow me on my weight loss journey.

What brought me to The Biggest Loser was simple: my need for weight loss and my desire to be healthy. I saw the commercial on my local TV station for the casting and thought I had way too much going on in my life to audition. But then I thought about it again and realized if I don't make the time now I never will. I thought this would be an opportunity for me to inspire the youth group I volunteer for (Ogden OUTreach Resource Center); I wanted the kids I work with to see me take the first step to a healthier life and hopefully inspire them to do the same.

Hi everyone!

Thank you for your patience and your support! First, I want to apologize for not blogging last week. Things got busier than I anticipated, but I will make it up to you now with a longer entry!

Dancing's Maks: I'm Taking My Injury Day By Day

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great week! Thanks for voting for us again!

First, I want to get you up to speed on my injury. Yes, I had an MRI on Tuesday on my foot. I have a lot of pain in my joints and ankle area. It's not pleasant and I was hoping that there's something that I could do to get rid of the pain. My doctor, who's one of the best foot specialists in the world, warned me that I might not be able ...

Week 17 was the contestants last week on the ranch!  Kim and Conda made it to the finale and all this season's eliminated players returned to compete for the last slot.  After their weigh-in, seven of the eliminated players who had lost the most percentage of body fat proceeded to the first part of the challenge, a hundred yard dash.  Following the race was a calorie puzzle and lastly an endurance challenge with the remaining three: Lauren, Jeremy, and Mike.  Jeremy ultimately won and solidified his spot as the third and last finalist!

Dancing's Maks: I Underestimated Our Fans

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great week!

First of all, I just want to thank all of our fans for your votes! I honestly did not know how big our support is, so I was admittedly surprised when we were called safe. I did not expect it. When we were told about this dance-off, my first impression was, "Great, I'm gonna be out Week 5!" I want to apologize to ...

The Biggest Loser's Dolvett Quince Blogs Week 16

Dolvett Quince

Week 16 certainly began like nothing we've ever seen or experienced before in the history of the show. The contestants all threatened to leave the ranch!  Apparently they heard the past players of the season would get to compete for one slot in the finale. The remaining contestants thought that it wasn't fair to them and wanted to leave. After several discussions between the lawyer, producers, Bob and myself, Jeremy, Conda, and Kim decided to stay. Buddy and Mark left which was really disappointing to me. read more

So this past Tuesday we all got an invite to the White House!  The remaining six contestants and their family got the opportunity of a lifetime to meet the First Lady.  Mrs. Obama greeted everyone with such warmth and grace.  I could tell she was a loyal  fan of The Biggest Loser.  She knew all the contestant's names and specific details that were only revealed on the show.  It was such an honor to meet her, and give the First Lady a Biggest Loser workout.

Dancing's Maks: We Are Taking It Easier This Week

Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Hi everyone!

Hope you had a great week! Thanks for voting for us!

First things first, Melissa is doing well. She's quite an inspiration. It's not like her injury was a crazy trauma, but it's definitely scary and not something you want to see on the show. This is not The Hunger Games. It's Dancing with the Stars. It's not without struggle and adversity, but it's not a blood ...
