Roush on Torchwood and Doctor Who
Question: My friend is addicted to
Torchwood and can't stop bragging about how great a show it is. I don't get satellite, so unfortunately I am unable to watch this show. Please tell me Sci Fi will start carrying
Torchwood like its parent show,
Doctor Who (I'm a
Doctor Who fanatic).

Matt Roush: Don't count on it. BBC America has publicly stated that Torchwood is its highest-rated show. It's not going to share it anytime soon. But your question is timely, because the first season DVD of Torchwood hits stores Tuesday, so you can catch up that way. And Season 2 of Torchwood resumes on BBC America this Saturday night. Which makes me wonder: Can't your friend record it for you and share?
