Shania Twain to Guest-Judge American Idol

Country superstar Shania Twain will be a guest judge on American Idol, TVGuide.com has confirmed.
Twain will join Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi when the show begins auditions in Chicago, which begin on Aug. 30, according to People.com.
After Paula Abdul's surprising announcement that she would not return to the show, Fox executives announced that Victoria Beckham, Katy Perry, Mary J. Blige and other yet-to-be-named celebrities would serve as guest judges during the audition rounds.
