Mark your calendars: Kris Allen's debut disc has a release date.
"Hey guys! The album is set to release Nov 17th," the Season 8 American Idol champ announced via Twitter.

Ever the tease, Allen did not reveal the title of the album, which is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
The disc, which Allen has said will be rooted in the pop/rock genre, will be released on Jive Records and 19 Recordings, home to two other Idol alums: Season 6 champ Jordin Sparks and Season 7 runner-up David Archuleta.
