Idol's Kara DioGuardi Marries, Calls Wedding "Unbelievable"

American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi married teacher-turned-general contractor Mike McCuddy on Sunday afternoon.
The couple, who got engaged on December 8 while vacationing in Mexico, exchanged vows in front of about 30 guests at the United Methodist Church in Prospect, Maine.

"What was most unbelievable about the experience was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike," DioGuardi told In Touch Weekly. "It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional, and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries."
The nuptials in fact were so powerful that they earned the vote — via AT&T texting, one would assume — of Mother Nature, who interrupted an onslaught of overcast skies to shine sun on the bride and groom.
"It's been raining in Maine for 60 days," said DioGuardi. "The only day that was nice was yesterday!"
