Jonas has signed on to serve as a guest judge alongside Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi during Dallas auditions, according to Us. The teen sensation is no stranger to Idol, having appeared alongside his brothers during the Season 7 finale.

The Los Angeles Times reported that original Idol winner Kelly Clarkson was nearing a guest-judge deal as well, but a rep told Us that was "not true."
Since Abdul's resignation, other guest judges confirmed for the upcoming season are Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Shania Twain and Katy Perry.
