Eliminated Idol Paige Miles: I Didn't Stop Competing, My Throat Did

After delivering what judge Kara DioGuardi called the worst vocal performance of American Idol's ninth season, Paige Miles wants to clear the air: She knows she was bad.
"It was a terribly, terribly weak performance," Miles tells TVGuide.com, noting that she did what she could with her cover of "Against All Odds," considering her prolonged battle with laryngitis.
As for whether or not she lost her competitive edge, Miles says, "I definitely didn't stop competing, my throat did."
