Back to School: Idol Champ David Cooks Up College Tour

Season 7 American Idol David Cook may no longer be romancing Kimberly Caldwell, but the guy is still going on dates. In fact, he has 37 lined up, as part of a just-announced tour of U.S. college campuses.
Cook's tour will kick off Feb. 13 at Florida State University, and wrap up April 25 at the University of Tulsa in Oklahoma, says AOL's PopEater.com.
"There's something inherently nostalgic about playing college shows," Cook notes. "So many amazing acts used to do it, it's nice to be able to bring that ideal back in some small way."
While most of the gigs will go down on actual college campuses, Cook also will perform at the Seneca Niagara Casino (in up-up-upstate New York) and the Ameristar Casino in Kansas City, Mo. Cook's complete itinerary can be found here. (Alas, no Carrier Dome, my fellow 'Cuse alumni.)
