Marvel's The Defenders Snags Three More Supporting Cast Members

Stick it to 'em, Claire

Pretty soon, we'll all be joining Marvel and Netflix's The Defenders. The superhero mash-up, which brings together four of the streaming services' shows in an Avengers style mega-series, has officially added three more members to the cast.

None of the trio is a huge surprise, mostly because at this point every supporting character from all four shows -- those would be Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, and Jessica Jones -- will most likely be thrown into the mix. But it is nice to see them confirmed, anyway.

Those joining the cast include Rosario Dawson as former legit nurse, current superhero nurse Claire Temple; Rachael Taylor as Trish, a.k.a. Patsy Walker, Jessica Jones' best friend; and perhaps most surprisingly, Scott Glenn as Daredevil's enigmatic mentor, Stick.

They join the previously confirmed Simone Missick as detective Misty Knight, and Deborah Ann Woll as crack journalist Karen Page; as well as Elden Henson's attorney Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss' attorney Jerri Hogarth, and Eka Darville as Jessica' other bestie, Malcolm, who is not an attorney.

Oh, and Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). They'll be there too, all teaming up to bring the beat down on a mysterious villain played by Sigourney Weaver.

Expect to get an e-mail that you're joining The Defenders cast shortly. The show will hit Netflix in 2017.
